Functional Training
What We Offer
Each group session includes a 45-minute full-body workout, all focused on improving strength, stability, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall stamina.
Group training isn’t for everyone, that’s why we have an option for private training. Private training is a one-on-one 45-minute full-body workout – just you and your coach.
Good nutrition and strength training go hand-in-hand and are important to your overall health. Anchor Nutrition is the best addition to your plan if you need guidance & accountability.
Our virtual training option is easy and convenient and gives you the option to work out in the privacy of your own home! It’s easy, we send you a link, you sign on and we get moving!
The last thing you need is another strict meal plan or a diet telling you to “eat this, not that”. Our program is designed for your food choices, to fit your lifestyle, at your convenience.
What is Functional Training?
Functional training is a type of strength training that helps make everyday life activities easier. Think lifting a box overhead, pulling your heavy garbage cans to the street, squatting to get in and out of your car, or carrying a big load of groceries. For injury prevention, we need stable joints and strong muscles to improve our ability to perform these daily activities.

We take our bodies' natural movement patterns (pushing, pulling, bending, squatting) in combination with the different directions we move, (forward, backward, and side to side) and formulate an exercise routine that makes sense.

The workouts are based on your abilities so it doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to exercise or have been doing it for years, we will start you where you need to be.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, gain strength, mobility, or overall longevity, everyone can benefit from functional training.
