At Anchor Fitness, our goal is to provide our clients with safe and effective evidence-based workouts, where we can create a positive culture to help you learn and grow through movement and mindset – and discover the joy of a healthier life!

What’s Included
Each program includes a 45 minute full body workout improving strength, stability, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall stamina.
Meet Marissa Dabkowski
I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Lifestyle and Weight Management Specialist and Precision Nutrition Coach.
Before I discovered my love for health and fitness, I earned a Masters Degree in Education, which has paved the path for me teaching others. Unlike most fitness professionals, my journey began in a negative way.

Shortly into my college years I found myself overweight with years of disordered eating habits under my belt. It was then I started exercising regularly, but my perception of exercise and my relationship with food had become skewed and obsessive.
​
I spent years battling with my mind, living with a dieter’s mindset, “starting over on Monday” and looking at exercise as punishment rather than enjoyment.
I thrived for a healthier lifestyle.
​
After diving into my personal habits and poor behavior patterns, I realized knowledge was not what I was lacking, it’s easy to find information on what to do. The biggest barrier was in my daily routine.
Did you ever ask yourself why the changes you’re trying to make seem like such an unfeasable task? …It’s because routines reduce uncertainty, and changing your routine is hard and uncomfortable, but there is no magic bullet …discomfort is part of self improvement.

Once I started looking at change as an opportunity and slowly started making progress, not only did I discover a greater love for movement, I knew that I wanted to help others unravel their negative thoughts related to food and exercise and fall in love with their process to help them live a healthier lifestyle.

Now as a coach, I find joy in helping clients build strength mentally and physically, helping them drop that perfectionist mindset, collaborating to find solutions not excuses, and building a successful system that works for YOU!
